The transatlantic passage of the Bosworth family was paid by Henry Sewall. This would indicate that the Bosworth family fame on the Elizabeth & Dorcas, and that they may have been from Coventry, Warkwickshire, or vicinty. He died in 1634 at Boston, Suffolk, MA, USA. Edward died on the ship "Elizabeth Dorcas" on his way to New England. Being sick and ready to die as the ship neared Boston, the old record tells that he "Was carried on deck that he might see Canaan, the promised land." He died soon afterward and was buried in Boston.
