DIES OF INJURIES IN BIKE ACCIDENT
Wayne, June 6 - Melvin Howard Buzzell, 30, died Tuesday evening at the Augusta General Hospital as a result of injuries received Saturday evening when he fell from his bicycle on the road between North Wayne and Winthrop.
Found lying beside the road by five Livermore Falls youths, he never regained consciousness. Believed to have been thrown forward on his head when the fork on his bicycle broke. Buzzell received a fractured skull, extensive3 bruises on the face and internal injuries.
He was born at Wayne April 10, 1914, the son of Howard and the late Cora (Soper) Buzzell. He is survived by his father, Howard Buzzell and a sister, Mrs. Alice Burns, both of Withrop.
Funeral services will be held at the Roberts funeral parlor in Winthrop Friday afternoon at two o'clock. Burial will be in Glenside Cemetery in Winthrop. He was buried at Glenside Cemetery, Winthrop, Kennebec, ME, USA.
