     Elizabeth Lane was born in 1627. She married Thomas Rider circa 1647. Her married name was Rider. Elizabeth Lane "Elizabeth Rider, the wife of Thomas Rider, of Boston, being left by her husband with five small children to maintain, & no means wherewith all to keep them, desiring liberty from this court to sel a house & land in Dorchester, which her father, W[illia]m Lane, gave to her & her children, in answer to her request, it is ordered, that the selectmen of the town of Boston shall & have power to dispose of the said house & land, either by sale, mortgage, or otherwise, as they shall judge meet, for the use of the petitioner, which this court doth hereby confirm & allow" on 23 May 1655 at Boston, Suffolk, MA, USA. Her married name was Garnsey.

     George Lane was born in 1613. He immigrated on 20 March 1634/35 to Weymouth, Dorsetshire, Dorsetshire, England; "George Land, his servant, 22 years," and "Sarah Land, his knswoman, 18 years," were included in the passenger list of the Marygould, in the family of Angel Holland, sailing for New England from Wemouth, Dorsetshire. No records appear in New England for these passengers under the surname Land. They are very likely children of William Lane. He married Sarah Harris.

     Sarah Lane was born in 1617. From The History of Gloucester: Rev. T. Smith of Falmouth, ME, says, in his journal, that Millett and one Ingersol" were drowned at Presumpscot by the damming of the ice; raising an head of water in the night while they were asleep.
