     Hanah Atwood was born before March 1675/76. As of 1 February 1692/93,her married name was Cooper. She married Richard Cooper on 1 February 1692/93. Hanah Atwood died on 16 December 1718.

     Geoffrey Atte Wode was born circa 1297. He married unknown (?). Geoffrey Atte Wode In 1360, Geoffrey was fined 46 Pounds in addition to a regular tax because Hooley House was Purchased without the consent of the king. in 1360. He died after 1360.

     Her married name was Atte Wode. Unknown (?) married Geoffrey Atte Wode, son of Sir William Atte Wode and Juliana (?).

     John Hewson Attewode was born circa 1509. He John Hewson Attewode was keeper of the kings falcons. He inherited Sanderstead Manor in 1530 (from the will of Dyones Attewode) During this time Henry VIII confiscated Church property which included Sanderstead Church and Manor. It is not sure if the Attewodes carried on living there or moved back to Coulsdon. There is mention that John left his estate to his youngest son Thomas who died in 1569 however it then shows this being passed on to Nicholas Atwood.
During this time however, the King passed Sanderstead, Warlingham to Sir John Gresham. Sir John was lord mayor of London. On his death in 1556, Sir John devised Sanderstead with his Manor and parsonage of Warlingham to Katherine, his wife with the remainder to his third son, Edmond Gresham. Edmond passed the property on to his son, who in 1591 sold Sanderstead and Warlingham to John Ownstead and Joan his wife. This however took place without royal license and the estate was seized by the crown officers. It was not until 1594, on payment of a fine did Richard Gresham and wife Anne to alienate the manor of Sanderstead.
John Ownstead, newly-made lord of the manor was Sergeant of the Carriage to Queen Elizabeth. John Ownstead died in 1600 where he devised the estate to his cousin, Harman Atwood. He married Margaret (?). John Hewson Attewode died on 19 March 1562.

     Margaret (?) was born in 1491 at Sanderstead, Surrey, Surrey, England. Her married name was Attewode. She married John Hewson Attewode, son of John Attewode and Denes or Denys (?).

     (?) Attewode was born in 1534.

     Robert Attewode was born in 1536. He was buried on 16 April 1570 at Sanderstead Parish Church, Sanderstead, Surrey, Surrey, England.

     Thomas Attewode was born in 1540. He was buried on 10 August 1568 at Sanderstead Parish Church, Sanderstead, Surrey, Surrey, England.

     William Mullins married Alice Atwood, daughter of Nicholas Atwood and Olive Harman. William Mullins died on 15 February 1620 at Sanderstead, Surrey, Surrey, England.

John Atwood, Son of John Johanem Atwood was in charge of Herring Wier at Plymouth. He was appently careless with the distribution for which he recieved a small quantity per thousand. For this he was presented to the general court and reprimanded and ordered to make restitution.

     Her married name was Atwood. Joan King married Harman Atwood, son of Nicholas Atwood and Olive Harman. Joan King died in 1640.

     John Atwood was born on 1 May 1684. He married Sarah Leavitt, daughter of Israell Leavitt and Lydia Jackson, on 10 February 1707/8. John Atwood married Experience Pierce on 8 June 1730. John Atwood died on 6 August 1754 at age 70.

     Sarah Leavitt was born on 8 February 1688/89. As of 10 February 1707/8,her married name was Atwood. She married John Atwood, son of Deacon Nathaniel Atwood and Mary Lucas, on 10 February 1707/8. Sarah Leavitt died on 27 January 1725/26 at age 36.

     Experience Pierce was born in 1704. As of 8 June 1730,her married name was Atwood. She married John Atwood, son of Deacon Nathaniel Atwood and Mary Lucas, on 8 June 1730. Experience Pierce died on 14 April 1762.

     Elizabeth Atwood was born on 24 April 1687. As of 3 December 1713,her married name was Shaw. She married Jonathan Shaw on 3 December 1713.

He married Elizabeth Atwood, daughter of Deacon Nathaniel Atwood and Mary Lucas, on 3 December 1713. Jonathan Shaw married Elizabeth Shurtleff, daughter of Abiel Shurtleff and Lydia Barnes, on 7 April 1736 at Plympton, Plymouth, MA, USA. Jonathan Shaw died in 1760 at Plympton, Plymouth, MA, USA.

     Francis Adams was born in 1677 at England. He immigrated in 1692. He married Mary Buck. Francis Adams died on 16 April 1758 at Kingston, Plymouth, MA, USA.

     Mary Buck was born on 26 June 1684 at Scituate, Plymouth, MA, USA. She married Francis Adams, son of Richard Adams. Her married name was Adams. Mary Buck died on 1 May 1769 at Kingston, Plymouth, MA, USA, at age 84.

     Richard Adams lived at Chester, England. He died in 1691 at NH, USA. While making a clearing in New Hampshire to settle upon, was taken prisoner by the Indians, bound hand and foot, fed upon a few parched corns daily until his sufferings were extreme, when some of the Indians drew their bows and killed him.

     Susanna or Silance Shurtleff Susanna Shurtleff and Nathaniel Atwood were cousins, each the grandchild of Francis Adams. She was born on 12 January 1727/28 at Plympton, Plymouth, MA, USA. As of 5 December 1748,her married name was (?) Atwood. She married Nathaniel Atwood, son of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Mary Adams, on 5 December 1748. Susanna or Silance Shurtleff died on 29 November 1771 at Plympton, Plymouth, MA, USA, at age 43. She was buried at Lakenham Cemetery, North Carver, Plymouth, MA, USA.

      As of 27 August 1747,her married name was Atwood. Elizabeth Lucas married Frances Atwood, son of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Mary Adams, on 27 August 1747.

     Joseph Barrows was born in September 1733. He married Sarah Atwood, daughter of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Mary Adams, on 3 April 1755.

      As of 25 January 1762,her married name was Atwood. Leah Churchill married Ebenezer Atwood, son of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Mary Adams, on 25 January 1762.

     Lydia Tilson was born circa 1763. As of 4 December 1766,her married name was Atwood. She married Capt William Atwood, son of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Mary Adams, on 4 December 1766. Lydia Tilson died on 5 February 1830. She was buried at Lakenham Cemetery, North Carver, Plymouth, MA, USA.

     Elizabeth Shaw was born circa 1744. As of 17 October 1765,her married name was Atwood. She married Joseph Atwood, son of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Mary Adams, on 17 October 1765. Elizabeth Shaw died on 7 April 1786. She was buried at Union Cemetery, South Carver, Plymouth, MA, USA.

     Patience Cobb was born circa 1758. As of 27 November 1777,her married name was Atwood. She married Samuel Atwood, son of Lieutenant Nathaniell Atwood and Abigail Shaw, on 27 November 1777. Patience Cobb died on 13 September 1841. She was buried at Carver Center Cemetery, Carver, Plymouth, MA, USA.
