On 6 May 1658, “Frances Jordon and Jerimiah Belchar, in behalf of Nedacockett, agreed that Francis Jordon pay twenty shillings to Jerimiah Bellchar in Nedacocket’s behalf” [EQC 2:70]. (The child’s name, “Bennoy” or “Benoy,” may be meant for Benoni, which means “son of my sorrows.”). As of before 1659,her married name was George. She married James George before 1659.

During her imprisonment, her husband, who was blind, and one of her daughters, visted her in prison, making the journey on horseback, the daughter managing the horse. The family who were well-to-do, used up all their means in their endeavor to save the mother. One of the daughters sought out the govenor, and implored a pardon, but it was to no avail.

On 1638, at Ipswich, Essex, MA, USA,, He and his brother, John, received a grant of land of more than 200 acres. Deacon Matthew Whipple left a will on 7 March 1645. His will is on record at the Register of Deeds, Essex County, Massachusetts. In it he mentions his eldest son, John, sons Matthew and Joseph, and daughters Anne and Elizabeth. He left to his eldest son, John, one-half of his estate. The other half to the two younder sons, Matthew and Joseph.. He married Rose (?) on 13 November 1646. Deacon Matthew Whipple died on 28 September 1647 at Ipswich, Essex, MA, USA. Whipple Website states he died Nov 1646.
Obituary and Biographical Notice: 1647, Sept. 28th. Matthew Whipple d. l. He left a wife, Rose, whom he m. Nov 13th 1646, and children by a former wife, deceased, John, Matthew, Joseph, Mary, Ann, and Elizabeth, and a brother John. Land was granted him, 1638, in the Hamlet, where he resided. His house was sold July 10th 1647 to John Annable, tailor. He held the chief offices in town, and was on some of its most important committees.
